Easy Three Step Admissions Process
- Take a Tour – We are unable to schedule tours in person at this time, however we invite you to take a virtual tour of our expansive campus and beautiful classroom environments.)
- Email our Admissions Team – Please email [email protected] to set up a Zoom meeting with Head of School, Cathy Newman, to learn more about what we have to offer, discuss your interests, and ask any questions you may have.
- Submit Your Online Application – Applications submitted by February 21 are given priority consideration. We will continue to accept applications after February 21 if we are not yet fully enrolled.
When enrolling new students we take a great deal into consideration; our classrooms are carefully balanced for age and gender, the suitability of the child and the family to the Montessori approach, and (in the case of older children) prior Montessori experience. Priority consideration is given to applications received before February 21. After February 21 we will continue to accept applications if we are not yet fully enrolled.
Submit Your Application
After you’ve had a meeting with our Head of School we will invite you to submit an online application.
Our online application process is easy using Transparent Classroom, an online database made specifically for Montessori schools. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking the status of their admission after their application has been submitted. A non-refundable fee of $125 must be submitted with each application.
Acceptance and Enrollment
Once you are accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter and enrollment contract. Typically acceptance letters for the next school year are sent out in March of the current school year. A completed enrollment contract will reserve your child’s space at Sunstone Montessori!
