Morgan Swor

Morgan grew up by the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota. Loving the beauty of Oregon, she moved to Portland in 2009. She is extremely happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest again after spending three years studying Midwifery in the Amish community of central Wisconsin.

Over the last ten years Morgan has worked with a variety of ages as a private nanny, a caretaker at child care centers, a camp counselor for Portland Parks and Recreation, and most recently as a Preschool educator in Tualatin, OR. Morgan studied American Sign Language (ASL) at Portland Community College, receiving a degree in Deaf Studies. She loves to use her Sign Language skills to help young people express themselves. While working on her Associate of Applied Science in 2011, Morgan became a birth doula. After working as a doula for a number of years, she went on to study in Midwifery in 2014. Morgan loves working with kids of all ages and is so excited to be here at Sunstone watching them learn, grow and thrive.

Her favorite activities include hiking, biking, canoeing, camping and live music.
